Visit to the Lowlands Sir Walter Scott's House, Abbotsford (Suggested reading The Talisman----A Most Perfect Creature of Heaven' ) 
Onwards to Edinburgh to view the Scott Monument in Princes Street 
Back to Kintyre after visiting Ardkinglas, home of the famous Breeder the late Miss Anastasia Noble. There are not many hounds today who do not have some Ardkinglas blood (Suggested reading Memories of Anastasia Noble and Ardkinglas Hounds)
Dinner Venison Casserole 
Night time departure for home by moonbeam 
Wee dram of Islay or Jura Malt whisky (purely medicinal to overcome rigours of such a long journey ahead) Oatcakes to nibble for sustenance
